Itinerary
Day 01 Arrive Srinagar
Welcome to the Srinagar, The Lake City. On arrival at Srinagar Airport, being your tour of ‘Exotic Kashmir’. You will be transferred to Houseboat. After lunch enjoy a romantic 'shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Overnight stay at the Houseboat.
Day 02 In Srinagar | Day Excursion to Sonamarg (90 kms / approx. 3 hour drive)
Today you embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque 'meadow of gold’ Sonomarg. The fast flowing Sindh river makes it popular for trout and mahseer fishing in summer. You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (by your own payment). Return to the Houseboat in Srinagar in the evening and enjoy comfortable
Day 03 In Srinagar | Day Excursion to Manasbal (30 kms / approx. 1½ hour drive)
After breakfast proceed to Manasbal Located at a distance of just around 30 kms away from Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, the Manasbal Lake is considered to be a “gem” among all the lakes of Jammu and Kashmir. Known as the deepest lake of Kashmir as well as the lake which offers the most secured ice formation amongst the lakes of Kashmir during the summer months. In the evening return to Srinagar for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 04 In Srinagar | Day Excursion to Verinag (80 kms / approx. 3 hour drive)
After breakfast proceed to Verinag. The Verinag Spring, named after Nila Nag, the son of the famous Hindu sage Kashyap Rishi. The spring, which was originally shaped in a circular form was given a change of shape during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1620, when he gave orders to renovate the spring in the Mughal traditional shape of an octagon. Today, picturesque in its settings and surrounded by tall Pine trees, the Verinag Spring is characterized by waters which are calm and sparklingly clear. Besides a glimpse of the Verinag Spring, a tour to Verinag is made even more special by the sight of several varieties of colorful flowers, gently swaying to the rhythm of the cool, mountain air. In the evening back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 05 In Srinagar | Day Excursion to Pahalgam (102 kms / approx. 3½ hour drive)
Early in the morning leave for Pahalgam the 'valley of shepherds' which is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheeshnag lake. En route visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman. On arrival into Pahalgam enjoy the surrounding beauty or walk to Baisaren, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam. A small village, set in pine and fir forest is pleasing and offers good view. In the evening back to Srinagar. Over Night stay at Hotel.
Day 06 In Srinagar | – Day Excursion to Gulmarg (85 kms / approx. 3 hour drive)
Early morning proceed to Gulmarg driving past willow trees, fast flowing streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - the meadow of flowers is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees. Stroll leisurely or take pony rides (by your own payment) across the green meadow to one of the world's highest Golf Course. A must is a fun-filled ride in the newly introduced Gondola lift (by your own payment). Return to Srinagar in the evening and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 07 In Srinagar | Srinagar – Local Sightseeing
Today after having breakfast we drive to visit the famous Mughal gardens in Srinagar which are Nishat Bagh (the garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (abode of love). These gardens are situated on the banks of Dal lake. Nishat Bagh is the larger of the two gardens and has an impressive plantation of Chenar trees on its highest terrace. Both the gardens are built on a symmetrical plan of central waterways with fountains dividing a series of gardened terraces. Night halt at Hotel in Srinagar.
Day 08 Return home with happy memories
After breakfast transfer to Srinagar Airport to board your flight with memorable experience of Aala Tours & Travels.

Tour Instructions & Facilities
Our Food: During the tour we will provide delicious, pure vegetation breakfast.
Hotels: Though we have published the name to the hotels/house boats for your tour, we reserve the flight to change the same due to unavoidable circumstances, when we may have to provide alternative, similar accommodation, for which no refund shall be allowed. The rooms shall be allotted as per the check-im/check-out time of the hotels/house boats.
Luggage: During the entire tour (Except for the Air journey) our staff will be at your service to carry your luggage, but at the same time we are not responsible for the theft or damage to your luggage. No claims to be made.
Our Tour Manager: You are requested to co-operate with our tour manager in all respect to make your tour really enjoyable. Allotment of rooms, selection of daily food menu is the duty of the tour manager and passengers should not interfere in these matters. Passengers indulging in unwanted hindrance, in the smooth operation of the tour or quarreling with the manager shall be asked to leave the tour at that spot and shall not be given any refund for the same.
Things not included in the tour cost: Personal expenses like service tax, tips, cold drinks, horse riding, boating, laundry, gondola cable car rides, room heaters, taxi fare, mineral water, insurance, additional expenses after accidents. We take it for granted that the passenger who joins the tour have read these terms and conditions and agree to the same.
Complaints during the tour: If the passenger have any complaints regarding our service like hotels, house boats, transport etc are advised to inform immediately at 0-9419028000 so that the same be readdressed on the spot. No complaints or refund for the same be entertained after the tour programs.
Bookings and Cancelations: You may confirm your bookings in our tour by paying deposit of 30% of the total tour cost. Balance payment shall be paid on the first day of the tour. If anybody fails to pay the balance amount he/she be deemed as cancelled and the deposit shall not be refunded. If due to some reason we cancel the tour, we pay full refund of the deposit amount. If the passenger wants to cancel the tour he/she have to make a written application to our office and we shall refund the tour cost after deduction cancellation charges as under;
a. From the booking date till 9 days prior to the departure date, 30 % of the package cost is chargeable.
b. From 5 days to 9 days prior to the departure date, 50 % of the package cost is chargeable.
